Using post support kits.
Bufftech is designed for direct insertion of rails into the posts (shown below a.). This is the most sound way to achieve long lasting durability. With this method you would need to use a Wood (b) or Concrete (c) post support kit. |

Using 4" x 4" wood posts.
Many times the choice is made to use existing standard 4"x4" wood posts as the primary support, this is good as well. Fortunately Bufftech posts can slide directly over 4"x4" wood posts. |
