A Zoning Permit (application below) is required for all fences. A Building Permit is required when a fence is enclosing a pool. Whether you are installing yourself or hiring a fence contractor, it is recommended to get familiar with the Township Fence Codes (below). Once you have an idea of the style of fence and location, contact Town Hall to verify that your project meets the guidelines set out in the fence codes and ordinances. Bring a copy of your property survey with the proposed fence marked in red. We have installed many wood, vinyl, aluminum and deer control fences in Berkeley Heights where we have been providing fence installation service since the 1960’s. Feel free to call to speak with an experienced fence industry expert to receive an installation price quote or a material estimate.
