Safety Crown - Top Cap - Fence Guard
Here is a plastic ‘Safety Fence Crown’ tube that runs over the top rail of chain link fence. We installed this fence top guard in March of 2019 at a sports field in Madison NJ. It slips over the top and covers the wire mesh points. This bright yellow (or black) corrugated plastic tubing is used to cap the top, so people leaning on the fence, such as spectators, will be protected from sharp edges (knuckles, barbs, points) of the wire fence, and the fence ties holding it to the rail.

Indoor Partition Warehouse Enclosure
We installed this indoor partition/chain link fence in a highly active warehouse facility in Paterson, NJ, in January, 2019. It is specialty fence work, as the fence is 14 feet high from floor to ceiling, and is custom fitted around beams and pipes. This created a high security enclosure to separate floor space for high valued materials. The over-sized 'harvey' type slide gate is mounted on rollers and opens and closes very easily. We finished the job by adding privacy screening to further isolate the area. Professionals Ed and Jorge, as always, did an ace installation right down to the last nut and bolt.
Commercial Cantilever Slide Gate
This is a commercial chain link cantilever type slide gate. This type is heavy duty and very durable. It is the gate of choice, especially when a slide type gate is required. In highly populated areas, where space is critical, a slide gate 'saves' room because it slides along the fence line. Alternately, less expensive swing gates take more space to operate and many times require eliminating parking spaces.

We installed this chain link fence at the Oak Street Elementary School in Bernards Township, NJ. It is on the front lawn of the school close to a fairly busy street. It is a simple cost effective solution to keep the children safe in the playground and off the road.
Heavy Duty Chain Link Fence
We installed this heavy duty chain link fence in Newark in December of 2018. Its purpose is to delineate the property line and provide security a church parking lot. The fence is reinforced with a larger pipe framework. The terminal posts are 3 inch. The line posts are 2 1/2 inch. This makes the fence stronger and more durable for a challenging environment.

Babe Ruth Backstop Cameron Field
We were called upon to built a chain link baseball backstop at a
field where baseball legends have played. On October 29th, 1929, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig joined and helped South Orange defeat East Brunswick 7-6. Both legends hit home runs out of the park. This all occurred, and a commemoration plaque can still be seen, at Cameron Field, in South Orange, NJ. It is said that on that day 12,000 people attended, each paying $1.

Chain link Restaurant Pier Fence
We installed this fence along the edge of the outdoor seating area at Klein's Fish Market in Belmar, NJ. Over a decade later it is still doing its job providing a safety barrier to the edge of the pier. What a nice restaurant to sit by the water and have an excellent fish meal. It was decided to use chain link because it is durable and long lasting. The small mini-mesh 1 1/4 inch fabric adds safety because it is non-climbable for children.

This is an all black residential chain link fence that we, at Academy Fence Company, installed in Belmar NJ. All black system means not just the chain link fabric, but all the material is black vinyl coated (including the posts,fittings hardware etc). This all black chainlink fence dog run, was designed and installed by Academy Fence Company for a customer in Englewood, NJ. The diameter of the pipe frame is increased and bottom rail was added to meet the challenge of their three large dogs (sprightly Boxers). We all know how large strong dogs can be intimidating, and cause anxiety and fear, even when they are simply playful. Either way, now the dogs are secure, the neighbors feel safe and the homeowners can rest assured. The job installation was executed skillfully by Eddie and Jorge.

It does not add too much to the life s;pan of the fence as chain link (when installed properly) is already a long lasting fence. Among many home improvements the customer made to their new home upon arrival, was a new distinct-styled vinyl fence to replace the old rusty overgrown chainlink that existed. Being that the fence is up on a retaining wall, the customer gained privacy and a prestigious look with this 4' high PVC.

The word commercial is used to indicate the size and strength of the material used. In this case, the gate frame was made from larger pipe and has commercial box hinges mounted. This also has 1 5/8" bottom rail, which adds to the commercial security and longevity of the fence.

In an effort to begin better upkeep of the front landscaping, they asked for our help in closing off pedestrian sidewalk traffic and we gave them just that! Although it is a 4 ft fence, the specs on the diameter of the pipe are for a 6 ft high fence.
