4 Rail Slip Rail Fencing
This is a 4 rail, slip rail, wood fence. It was installed by Academy Fence Company in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ. It is a little unusual as it has four horizontal rails, giving it extra height and strength. The wood fence rails and posts are pressure treated. It was a fun job as is was for a film set and ordered by Random Productions. We installed it, and soon after uninstalled it . The movie will be called "Plot Against America".
2 Rail Rustic Wood Post & Rail

We installed this rustic split post and rail fence in Maplewood, NJ, in November 2018. The customer loves the traditional rustic look of post and rail, but needed to close off the large openings between the rails to enclose their dog. That is why we attached black coated welded wire (2in x 4in) mesh to the entire fence. Welded wire mesh is inexpensive and easy to install for most people. If the color black is used, it is nearly invisible. Now they can open their back door and let them out, knowing they are secure in the back yard. In addition, the dogs and children will be more safe from interacting with wild roaming animals like raccoons and deer.

After the fact, the Morris County resident wanted to prevent deer from entering the yard and had us install a Vinyl Coated Welded Wire fence to make the fence higher. The height was extended from 4 ft to 8 ft high. Since it is black wire it is somewhat invisible.
